Lousing Chaphu or ꯂꯧꯁꯤꯡ ꯆꯐꯨ (LC) aims to bring about a change in the people of Manipur (India) by shifting the traditional way of thinking to a more rational and logical way of thinking. In Manipuri, the word “lousing” (ꯂꯧꯁꯤꯡ) means abundance of knowledge, wisdom and insight, and the word “chaphu” (ꯆꯐꯨ) means a pot or a container. “Lousing Chaphu” is the source of all forms of knowledge, wisdom or insight.
The idea of Lousing Chaphu was first conceived in April 2014. We wanted Manipur to be a land well developed in all respects. In order to do so, we need various things. One of the most important things is to educate the people and impart knowledge. We hope for a society with logical persons. Logical thinking is very important in our everyday life. It must be taught from an early stage of our life. LC plans to introduce the ways of proper logical thinking to the children of Manipur.
The name “Lousing Chaphu” was carefully selected from a variety of choices. The name was finally approved on 9 December 2014. Some selected works of Lousing Chaphu are listed below:
